Day 1: Tour from Puno to Huatajata, via Lake Titicaca

You will leave Puno early this morning to travel overland to Copacabana, Bolivia. You will have time to visit the Cathedral before boarding your hydrofoil to Moon Island, where you can visit the Sun Virgins Temple “Iñak Uyu”.  Next you will continue by hydrofoil to Sun Island, where you can visit the Inca “Grand Stairs” and the Sacred Fountain; taste the water believed to give eternal youth and happiness.  After lunch at the Uma Kollu archaeological Restaurant, you will return by hydrofoil to Copacabana, where your overland transport will be waiting to take you to Huatajata.  Upon arrival, visit the Andean Roots Eco Village: The Altiplano Museum; Handicrafts village, the Mud Igloos and the mortuary towers of the Urus Chipayas. Meet the Limachi family, builders of the RA II and Tigris for epic expeditions across the Atlantic Ocean.  Before dinner, experience "The Mystic World of the Kallawayas", natural healers of Bolivia. They believe that you first have to heal the soul in order to heal your body.  Tata Benjo, -our Kallawaya- will bless visitors and answer questions by casting his sacred coca leaves.  After dinner, visit the observatory to view the southern constellations through a telescope donated by NASA.   Spend the night at Inca Utama Hotel & Spa, Huatajata.

Day 2: Morning transfer to La Paz, free afternoon

After breakfast, enjoy the overland journey to your hotel in La Paz, on a road running parallel to the mighty snow capped peaks of the Andes.  The rest of the day is free to explore the city of La Paz.  From your hotel you are within walking distance of the Plaza Murillo and the famous Witches’ Market.  Spend the night at our Superior hotel in La Paz.

Day 3: Depart La Paz

At the appropriate time you will have a private transfer from your hotel to La Paz International Airport.

On this tour you will stay at a very special hotel on the banks for Lake Titicaca, at Huatajata. The Inca Utama Hotel and Spa at Huatajata has several onsite museums for you to enjoy as well as spa facilities.  The last night is spent in El Presidente Hotel in central La Paz.
