- Can I make changes to the tours on the Discover South America website?
Yes! Please ask us about any changes you would like to make either to our Pick & Mix Tours or our Suggested Itineraries.
- How do I book my holiday through Discover South America?

- Do you operate Escorted Group Tours?
No, our trips are not Group Tours in which you with the same group and one guide on the same itinerary. On our holidays you travel your own itinerary and join small groups in each place for one or two day tours. This allows us to be very flexible with travel dates and itineraries. It has the added benefit that your guide in each place will be a true local expert and you are not stuck with the same tour group for two weeks! See our About Us page for more information.
- Are there fixed dates for your Tours?
No, you can travel whenever you like, subject to availability. Prices may vary in busy periods.
- Can I book my flights through Discover South America?
Yes, we can book both international and domestic flights to fit with your holiday itinerary.
- What if something goes wrong on my trip?
When you book you will be provided with the emergency contact numbers for our local representatives in each city. They are available 24/7 to help with any urgent problems. You can also contact us in the UK if you are unhappy with any element of your trip. The sooner you let us know, the better chance we have of fixing it. If circumstances beyond our control mean last minute changes to your itinerary are necessary (eg. strikes, natural disasters) we will co-ordinate with our local partners and confirm the changes to you as soon as possible.
- I have been told that my Inca Trail booking is “On Request”. What does this mean?
Your booking status will be “On Request” from when we receive your deposit payment until we have obtained your Inca Trail Trek permit. Please see our Inca Trail Permits page for more details.
