Privacy Notice




  1. Collection of personal data
  • prior to any booking being made we may have been provided with your personal data by a referral agency. That data will normally be your name and email address or other means of contacting you
  • in all other cases  you will have provided the data by contacting us
  • if a booking is made we will ask you for a considerable amount of extra data eg date of birth, sex, passport details, dietary requirements, health issues etc
  • we will ask you to provide similar information for other persons travelling with you as part of the same booking. In that event the first named person on the Booking Form/Quotation confirms that he/she has the authority of all the other named persons to provide such data and confirms that he/she has made such persons aware of the existence and contents of this Privacy Notice


  1. Use of personal data
  • initially we will only use your personal data to enable us to discuss with you your holiday plans and requirements and to provide you with a quotation for a holiday
  • if you make a booking we will need to share your data (including any data of a sensitive nature eg details of any dietary or religious requirements or disabilities) with the suppliers of your travel arrangements. These will include airlines, airline ticketing agents, hotels, hotel consolidator agencies, transport companies and other organisations of a similar nature. We may also have to share your data with national and security authorities.
  • many of the organisations will be outside the UK and the European Economic Area and we have to make you aware that the controls on data protection applying in those countries may not be the same as apply in the UK and the European Economic Area
  • we will not share your data with any person or organisation unless it is  necessary for us in order to provide you with the holiday you have booked or otherwise to  fulfill our legal obligations
  • we will not use your data for any purpose not mentioned in this paragraph
  • in normal circumstances we will process your personal data under the basis in Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulations ie that is necessary for the performance of our contract with you or necessary to provide you with a quotation
  • in some circumstances the personal data may include data of the special categories set out in Article 9  of the General Data  Protection Regulations (ie it reveals racial or ethnic origins, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership or genetic or biometric data, or data concerning health or data concerning a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation) Should that be the case then by making the booking you give us explicit consent to process such data for the purposes mentioned in this paragraph


  1. Retention of personal data
  • if you do not make a booking we will not retain your personal data after you have advised us of that decision
  • if you do make a booking we will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to enable us to comply with the contract we have with you, the general law and any specific legal requirements eg accounts preparation, taxation

  • you have various rights given to you by the General Data Protection Regulations

  • you have the right to request from the data controller access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability
  • if you have provided data in a special category and given us consent to use that data you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time
  • you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
